Apple-filled turon dressed-up for the season with coffee-cream cheese sauce and NESTLÉ Ice Cream
Filling:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups peeled and cubed apple
1/2 cup NESTLÉ Premium Squeeze Orange Juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon ground
1/2 cup all purpose flour dissolved in
1/2 cup evaporated milk
10 pcs lumpia wrapper
oil for deep frying
Coffee-Cream Cheese Sauce:
1 301ml can condensed milk
1 cup cream cheese
1 tbsp
NESCAFE Classic
10 scoops NESTLÉ Ice Cream - Vanilla Heaven
Procedure
Ingredients
10-12 flat bottomed waffle cone (recipe calls for 10 but I used 12)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
55 g butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Frosting
85 g butter
1 1/2 cups icing sugar, sifted
2 tablespoons double cream (heavy cream)
food coloring (optional)
colored sprinkles
Directions
1Pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2Place cones in muffin pan, checking for holes or cracks in the cones.
3Gently combine sifted flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a small bowl, set aside.
4Combine butter, sugar and egg with a mixer on a medium speed until mixture is lighter in colour and no lumps remain.
5Add milk and vanilla, reducing speed to low and beat until smooth.
6Fold in flour mixture until combined.
7Place even amounts of the batter into each cone, gently tap the bottom of the cone to settle the batter.
8Bake cupcakes until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean, about 20-30 minutes.
9Leave to cool completely.

11Combine butter, icing sugar, cream and vanilla. Using an electric mixer on low speed, beat until smooth - add colouring if you like and mix in
12Decorate cakes and sprinkle on sprinkles or go wild like me and dip them inches.
Thin and crisp coffee-flavored pancakes served with coffee sauce.
Batter:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp NESCAFE Classic
1 cup NESTLE Fresh Milk
1 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 tbsp NESCAFE Classic dissolved in
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp Kahlua (optional)
1/2 piece fresh orange sliced
1 can 160g NESTLE Cream, chilled
1. Sift together flour, salt, and NESCAFÉ Classic. Stir in NESTLE Fresh Milk and oil until free of lumps.
2. Lightly grease a crepe pan with oil. Pour about 1/2 cup of the prepared batter. Tilt pan around to coat bottom evenly. Cook until sides of the crepe leaves pan, invert to cook the other side. Do the same for the remaining batter. Arrange crepes in dessert plates and serve with syrup prepared as follows-
3. Heat brown sugar until caramel in color. Add butter then pour slowly stir in NESCAFÉ Classic, kahlua, and orange slices. Simmer about 5 min. Pour over crepes and top with NESTLE Cream.

1 250ml NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream, chilled
1 cup butter, slightly softened
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 cup chopped cashew nuts, roasted
24 pieces otap (local flaky cookie)
1. In a bowl, whip cream with half of the powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Set aside.
2. In another bowl, cream the butter and remaining sugar until light and fluffy. Fold the whipped cream into the creamed butter.
3. Spread cream mixture on a piece of otap, sprinkle with chopped nuts and top with another piece of otap. Cover the entire surface of the otap with more butter-cream mixture. Chill for 30 minutes.
4. Roll on the chopped cashew nuts and chill until ready to serve.
Crispy spring rolls stuffed with sweet potato and sliced plantains
2 cups mashed yellow kamote
8 pcs cooked and mashed saba banana
1 cup cooked small sago
3/4 cup CARNATION Condensasa
20 pcs lumpia wrapper
cooking oil for deep frying
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp NESTLE Cream
Combine the first four ingredients in a bowl. Put about 2 tbsps. of the mixture in lumpia wrapper and roll to seal. Deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain in paper towels. Serve with sauce.
